When we married, we decided that we would eventually have children. Years went by, we moved the winery from Woodinville to Red Mountain, planted some grapes, and so on. During that time, we had a baby - a baby boy yellow Lab, that is!

Murray has become integral to our winemaking operation. He's not much of a hands-on type of dog as he's claimed the managerial throne at Hightower Cellars. His long lunches are usually spent chasing vineyard rodents and sticks and roaming around the perimeter of our vineyard, making sure he hasn't missed out on anything. But his playful energy, eagerness and spirit inspire us to enjoy life as he does - life's no fun without any playtime. So bring on the wine and stinky cheese, and cheers to Murray!
